Parviz Shahbazov, Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, is on a working visit to Italy

Parviz Shahbazov, Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was on a working visit to Italy from July 1-3, 2024, to participate in the "Global Energy Transition Congress & Exhibition (GET 2024)" held in Milan.

P. Shahbazov participated in the event as a speaker and informed the participants about our country's position on the topic and the work being done in the transition to green energy. He emphasized that COP29 is the most important platform for discussing the energy transition and other issues.

On the sidelines of his visit, P. Shahbazov held bilateral meetings with Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, Italy's Minister of Environment and Energy Security, Musaddiq Malik, Pakistan's Minister of Energy, Alessandro Puliti, CEO of “Saipem”, Alessandra Pasini and Marco Alvera, CEOs of Zero A Europe, and Nicola Melkiotti, CEO of CESI.

The aforementioned conference is considered one of the most important global forums in the field of energy transition in the region, and the event was attended by energy ministers from a number of countries, as well as former heads of state and government.
